TJ Tacos! Soooooo good! I had a full stomach with just three, the carnitas, pollo asada, and carne asada! The tomatillo sauce is dee-lish too.

Good place. Authentic street tacos. Good atmosphere. And food was quick. I will definitely be back.

My husband's burrito was great, my chili rellano, taco combo was okay. They didn't put any sauce on top of the chili rellano 😔, but the chicken taco was good.

Happy this place is open again. Food was good and it was nice to use their outdoor seating area.

Got home and found a meal was missing - very disappointing. Far enough away from house it wasn’t worth returning. In fact probably will never return. Check your bags before leaving.

Remember since this use to be Mrs Taco. Still delicious food with good service, but they need to add the spicy burrito to the official menu.

Quick service for grub on the run, restaurant is spacious and clean. My go to for great Carne Asada burritos!

I didn't die. The food was pretty industrial. I would not go again unless I was starving.

The place was very good. I had the chicken soft tacos which were very good! If you have time and the room have the flan you well not be sorry. Oh BTW the beans if you can have them too. You will not be sorry.

The food and service were great. But.. if you're going to have an allergy warning in Spanish. Please. Please. Also have it in English.

The Original Mr. Taco #1 on Mission Road has been my long time go-to when I'm in San Marcos. It's nice to have another option when we are in Carlsbad or Vista. The quality of the food is great. Service is excellent and this new location is big enough for any size group.

Good food to pricey although street tacos were good order 3 paid 4.75 and they were not that big.

Wow i just bought a California burrito a few minutes ago from this place. I’m from garden grove working here in vista today. This is the best California burrito i have ever had. I’ve had many Ca burritos in my day and this one is tops. The restaurant is really nice. The restrooms are super nice. Wish the place was in garden grove. The carne Asada is very high quality meat. My first time here. I'm staying at a local hotel and came here as this place was recommended. I ordered some sort of burrito.....it seriously was the largest burrito I've even seen, much less eaten. It was very tasty too. Very reasonably priced. 5 stars

I pretty much like restaurants with great service, clean and offer a consistent product. The original Mr. Taco in Vista, on Melrose, does just that. Friendly staff is familiar with my order before I place it and it looks as expected every time it comes out. And it taste delicious!If you’re coming for breakfast don’t sleep and they charge you extra if it’s after 10 o’clock get out of here

The food is always Awesome, the homemade bunelous and salsa is amazing. You will never be disappointed. The workers are always so nice and have a smile to greet you. Make this your go to spot.

I found Mr Taco on get1free and purchased a gift certificate. It is a very casual restaurant, you order the food at the register and are given drink cups and a number to put on the table, then they bring the food. The food was good, there were four of us and we all ordered something different, everyone enjoyed their food. The staff checked on us several times. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

My go to Mexican restaurant for the area. Generous portions, on point food and service. I especially like their Chile Verde burrito. It's enough to feed two people, maybe more.

This is the first place to go if I want to eat mexican food in Carlsbad during lunch time. Awesome food and great ambient. I have tried multiple items from menu and all are off the chart. They usually have red and green sauce but..If you like spicy sauce, ask them.

Went here for lunch on a Friday it was very crowded but now I know why. The food was amazing, the line moved quickly, and service was outstanding. I ordered the taco plate pretty generic order but not a generic plate everything was super fresh and tasted great lots of chicken in the tacos and the crispy shells were perfect. This place is sort of hidden behind the Chevron but plenty of parking around it. I highly recommend

This place was simply AMAZING. We went Saturday night. The food was so damn good we came back Sunday. The Carne Asada(meat) was really juicy & good. At times it can be dry but nah not here. The staff was very helpful. The location good. On Sunday's you can get a kids meal for free when you order an adult entree. Really good deal there. The prices i thought were gonna be high but nah man everything was super reasonable and lower than expected for other items. Ive been to places where breakfast burritos were $10+ it was less than 6 here. I suggest everyone just go. You wont regret it

This site is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. Whenever I I need a superb dinner, this is the place that comes immediately to my head. superb and many types of food and a rich menu.generous staff members, and pleasant mood. And very important, the expence is reasonable. I praise this restaurant with great pleasure.

Mr. Taco was recommended to us by the hotel we stayed at locally. Was worth the trip. Food was good and reasonable, and the kids ate their whole order which is always a good sign. They had a good selection and for a Saturday night we didn't have any trouble getting a table. Would eat here again.

Great tacos, but a little pricey... A salsa bar might be nice too... They give you a couple salsas that are both pretty decent, so it's not that big of a deal, but still, I wouldn't mind a slightly larger selection...

Decent food. No salsa bar though and counter help was kind of grumpy. I don't know about you, but I don't like shelling out my money, to be treated treated like you're a bother to them.

Excellent food! Great setting. You get taco shop prices and more of a restaurant ambience. I love bringing my family here. We are never disappointed. Great courtyard outside, friendly staff, delicious food. Very happy this is so close to home!

My family and I love this place!! Very clean, friendly service, and delicious food. This is restaurant quality food at taco shop prices. The atmosphere is just very relaxing and sometimes on Friday and Saturday nights they have live music. If you haven't tried this place I highly recommend giving it a go and if you have kiddos they have chicken nuggets and fries...yay!
